Sveit is an online community of Web developers, graphic designers, and people who are simply interested in the Internet and technology. We enjoy and encourage learning and sharing information. People who were once beginners now share and help others with what they have learned over the years.


Sveit officially started on 3 September 2006, when the long-running community, Aboho, shutdown (the archive is still available).
Despite Aboho's untimely shutdown, many members wanted to keep the community going -- thus, Sveit was born.

In September 2008, Yfma, a long standing webhosting provider and internet community merged with Sveit, all of its members moved over and the community was given a boost of life once again.

We need your support to keep not just Sveit alive, but the memories of Aboho and Yfma as well.

Of course, no one in their right mind would discuss nothing but computers so we have a place where you can indulge in conversations about anything you wish to (within reason, of course). In our General Chat section, you can talk about anything from music to literature, to politics to biology.
